Airbnb Co-Host vs Full Management in Dubai

• A listing can have up to ten co-hosts, each with one of three permission levels: full access (calendar, pricing, listing, reservations and messaging), calendar and messaging, or calendar only.
• The listing owner sets any payout share for the co-host: the cleaning fee, a percentage, both, or a fixed amount per booking. Outside the US and EU, payouts can be shared with only one co-host per listing.
• Airbnb’s Co-Host Network, which matches owners with local co-hosts, did not list the UAE among its countries when we checked in September 2026.

A co-host works inside Airbnb. Other channels, the DET systems and the physical running of the home sit outside the feature.

Every holiday home needs its own DET permit, and the obligations continue after launch: guest registration within three hours, monthly Tourism Dirham payments, valid insurance and safety equipment. Under a co-host arrangement, those usually stay with you as the permit holder.

Co-hosts set their own fees. Software provider Hostaway reports co-host fees commonly between 10% and 30% of rental income, or a flat fee per month or per booking; that figure is not Dubai-specific. Dubai full-service managers that publish a rate charge between 12% and 20%.
